Thinking that it would be a clue of some type, I tried enabling all IPv6 protocols in all my adapters, even the disabled ones (I use them all disabled by default), but the message and the system log registry kept showing, thus, no internet sharing. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error. The ICS_IPV6 was unable to allocate bytes of memory. That is not very clear, so I went to the windows system's event logs and found this warning message all the times I tried to enable internet connection sharing: When I try to share my wireless internet connection or my cable connection in windows 7 it gives me this error message, after asking to change the other adapter's ip to 192.168.137.1:Īn error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled.
